On September 9^th,  2015, an agreement of high importance was signed between Yerevan State University and Armenian Software LLC.
 

According to the agreement, the parties will cooperate by combining  their experiences for modernizing and development of IT industry’s educational processes.
 

The agreement particularly includes the following parts:

• Parties together design and develop education program of Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics
• Educational programs are conditionally divided into "theoretical" and "practical" parts  coordinators of which are, respectively, YSU and Armsoft
• Special attention is given to implementation of modern methods into practical classes
• According to the above mentioned objectives, the Parties will review and revise educational program of IAM‘s "Informatics (Computer science)" profession
• The parties review IAM’s list of graduate (M. Sc.) programs and revise their educational program
• Armsoft's experienced professionals involve in the teaching process
• For teaching certain courses with decision and approval of both parties, professionals from other companies can be invited
• For practical classes Armsoft will provide laboratory classrooms equipped with modern technologies
• Other interested companies of IT industry can join this cooperation. They will have the opportunity to present their views on the educational process, introduce their companies and their job vacancies to graduates, support the educational processes in any way, such as by lectures, technical, laboratory, financial and other resources.

This is the first example in Armenia of full cooperation agreement between private company and the University.
